It's impossible to install only pumps without installing them. Pump installation process includes basic inspection pump installation in place detection and adjustment lubrication and refueling commissioning. Today, Xiaobian will take you together to understand the details of this process.

Basic inspection process

1. The installation layer of the pump has passed the structural acceptance.

2. The relevant axes and elevation lines of the building have been drawn.

3. The concrete strength of pump foundation has reached more than 70%.

Step 3: Basic Inspection

Basic coordinates, elevation, dimensions and reserved holes should meet the design requirements. The surface of the foundation is flat and the strength of concrete meets the installation requirements of the equipment.

1) The plane dimension of the pump foundation should be 100-150 mm wider than that around the base of the pump unit when no vibration isolation is installed, and 150 mm wider than that around the base of the pump when vibration isolation is installed. The top elevation of the foundation should be higher than 100 mm above the surface of the pumping station when there is no vibration isolation installation, 50 mm above the surface of the pumping station when there is vibration isolation installation, and no water accumulation should be formed. There are drainage facilities around the periphery of the foundation for easy drainage or removal of accident leakage during maintenance.

2) Oil contamination, gravel, soil and water in the reserved holes of pump foundation surface and foot bolt should be removed; the threads and nuts of embedded foot bolt should be well protected; and the surface of the place where the foot bolt is placed should be chiseled.

Pump installation in place

Place the pump on the base and use the pad iron to align the pump. After the pump is installed, the same set of pads shall be spot welded together to avoid loosening when the force is applied.

1)No vibration isolation installation of water pump.

After leveling the pump, install the anchor bolt, the screw should be vertical, and the length of the screw exposure should be 1/2 of the diameter of the screw. When the foot bolt is grouted twice, the strength of concrete should be 1-2 grade higher than that of the foundation, and not less than C25. When grouting, the foot bolt should be tampered, and the installation accuracy of the pump unit should not be affected by the inclination of the foot bolt.

2)Vibration isolation installation of water pump.

①Installation of Vibration Isolation for Horizontal Pumps

The vibration isolation measure of horizontal pump unit is to install rubber shock absorber (cushion) or spring shock absorber under reinforced concrete or steel base.

②Vibration Isolation Installation of Vertical Pumps

The vibration isolation measure of vertical pump unit is to install rubber damper (cushion) under the base or steel cushion plate of pump unit.

③Rigid connection is adopted between the base of the pump unit and the vibration reduction base or the steel cushion plate.

④The type specifications and installation positions of shock absorbers or cushions should meet the design requirements. The shock absorber (cushion) under the same base shall adopt the same type product of the same manufacturer.

⑤In the process of installing shock absorber (cushion) for pumping units, measures must be taken to prevent the inclination of pumping units. When the shock absorber (cushion) of the pump unit is installed, measures must be taken to prevent the inclination of the pump unit to ensure safe construction when installing the inlet and outlet pipes, fittings and accessories of the pump unit.

3)On-site assembly of large pumps

When the separation of pump and motor of large water pump needs to be assembled on site, the precautions are as follows:

①On the basis of concrete, steel brackets are made according to the design drawings, and fixed on the foundation with foot bolts to carry out rough level.

②Pump and motor in place.

If the core pulling inspection is needed before the motor is in place, it should be ensured that the enameled coil of the motor rotor and stator windings is not touched. Check whether there are foreign bodies in the stator slot; test whether the clearance between rotor and stator is uniform, whether there is waist sweeping phenomenon; whether the motor bearings are in good condition. Replace the lubricating oil.

If the pump needs to be cleaned, it needs to be disintegrated. When the bearing bush is adopted, the clearance of Bearing Bush should be detected to avoid loosening or holding the shaft.

Pump and motor couplings are fixed with keys and shafts, requiring flat installation. Angle ruler or horizontal ruler can be used for measurement. Everything is in place.

Detection and adjustment

Level meter and line drop are used to measure and adjust the processing surface of the flange and base of the water pump. The water pump is finely installed. The level of the horizontal pump body should not be greater than 0.1/1000 and the vertical pump body should not be greater than 0.1/1000.

When the pump and motor are connected by coupling, the percentile meter and plug ruler are used to measure and adjust the axial and radial direction of the coupling. The axial inclination of the coupling should not be greater than 0.8/1000, and the radial displacement should not be greater than 0.1mm.

When adjusting concentricity of pump and motor, bolts on coupling, bolts connecting pump with motor and base should be loosened, and angular displacement and radial displacement should be adjusted with different thickness of thin steel plate or thin copper sheet. Slightly pry up an adjustable corner of the motor or pump, and cut the thin steel plate or thin copper pad into the following figure at the bolt. When the test is qualified, tighten the original loosened bolt.

Lubrication and refueling

Check the pump's oil cup and refuel, disc coupling, pump disc should be flexible, no abnormal phenomenon.

Trial run

Open the intake valve and the pump exhaust valve, fill the pump with water, and close the valve on the pump outlet pipe. First point the motor pump to check whether there is any abnormality and whether the motor's turn meets the Steering requirements of the pump. Then start the pump, slowly open the valve on the outlet pipe, check the pump operation, motor and bearing temperature rise, pressure gauge and vacuum gauge pointer value, pipeline connection, should be normal and meet the design requirements.
