Tube Heat Exchanger

The tube heat exchanger is one of the most widely used heat exchangers in chemical production and evaporation. It is mainly composed of casing, tube sheet, heat exchange tube, head, baffle plate etc. The required materials can be selected accordingly. The main pipes materials include: carbon steel, 304, 316L, 2205, TA2 and other materials.During the heat exchange process, a fluid enters from the joint pipe of the head, flows in the pipe and then flows out from the outlet pipe at the other end of the head, which is called the pipe process; another fluid enters from the pipe of the casing, and flow out from another connection pipe on the housing, which is called the shell process.

The tube heat exchanger structure is relatively simple, compact, and inexpensive to manufacture, but the outside of the tube cannot be mechanically cleaned. The tubes are connected to the tube sheets, which are respectively welded to both ends of the shell, and a top cover is attached thereto, and the top cover and the shell are provided with fluid inlet and outlet joints. A series of baffles perpendicular to the bundle of tubes are typically placed outside the tube. The connection between the tube and the tube sheet,the tube and the outer casing is rigid. Two kinds of fluid with different temperatures flow through the inner and outside of the tubes.



Plate Heat Exchanger

The plate heat exchanger is a high-efficiency heat exchanger which is assembled from a series of metal sheets with a certain corrugated shape. A thin rectangular channel is formed between the various sheets, and heat is exchanged through the sheets. Plate heat exchangers are ideal equipment for heat exchange between liquid-liquid and liquid-vapor. It has the advantages of high heat exchange efficiency, small heat loss, compact and light structure, small occupied area, wide application and long service life. In the case of the same pressure loss, the heat transfer coefficient is 3-5 times higher than that of the tube heat exchanger, and the floor space is one-third of the tube heat exchanger, and the heat recovery rate can be as high as 90% or more.
