The chemical industry includes two major categories: organic chemical and inorganic chemical. The chemical products are diverse and the composition is complex. The wastewater discharged from the chemical plant is called chemical wastewater. There are many kinds of chemical wastewater, most of which are highly toxic, not easy to purify, and have a certain accumulation effect in the living body. It has obvious oxygen-consuming properties in the water body, which easily deteriorates the water quality.

It has the properties of strong oxygen-consuming and strong toxicity.As most of them are artificial organic compounds,they are difficult to be decomposed and will pollute the environment severely.
